System Requirements and Installation of Acrobat ReaderTM 3.0:
Windows System Requirements:
386- or 486-based personal computer (486 recommended)
Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater
8MB application RAM
5MB (for 3.1) and 10MB (for Windows95) hard disk space

Installing Acrobat ReaderTM 3.0 using Windows 3.1:
Exit all open applications.
Insert the CD into your drive.
In the Program Manager, select Run from the File drop down menu;
type [CD-drive]:\Acrobatr\Windows\Rdr_srch\16bit\Setup.exe
(ie: D:\Acrobatr\Windows\Rdr_srch\16bit\Setup.exe)
Follow the instructions on your screen.

Installing Acrobat ReaderTM 3.0 using Windows95:
Exit all open applications.
Insert the CD into your drive.
Select start and choose Run, then choose Browse button.
Select CD-ROM drive (ie: D:)
Open Acrobatr > Windows > Rdr_srch > 32bit folders.
Choose "Setup.exe", then choose open and click OK.
Follow the instructions on your screen.

Macintosh System Requirements:
68020 or greater processor
3.5MB application RAM
8MB hard disk space
Apple System Software version 7.1 or later

Installing Acrobat ReaderTM 3.0 using Macintosh:
Quit all open applications.
Insert the CD into your drive.
Open ACROBATR > MAC > READERSE > READER folders.
Double-click INSTALLA.0
Follow the instructions on your screen.

Getting Started:
Insert the CD into your drive.
Open the "MOUSER.PDF" file.



Tips:
For faster access, you can copy the CD to your hard drive.
Allow 110MB hard disk space.
For detailed information about Acrobat ReaderTM 3.0, Windows users
choose "Help" from the drop-down menu on the menu bar or open 
the "Help-Reader.pdf" file.  Macintosh users select "Help" button
on keyboard or open the "Help-Reader.pdf" file.

Help:
To view Mouser Electronics Web site:
1. Choose File > Preferences > Weblink...
2. Click Select to specify your World Wide Web Browser Application.
3. Click on the Mouser Electronics Web address (http://www.mouser.com)
and it will open your browser to the Mouser Electronics Home Page.

How to Add the Mouser Index to the Search List:
To be searchable, an index must be in the search list and it
must be selected.  When you add an index to the list, it is
automatically selected.
1. Choose Tools > Search > Indexes.
2. Click Add.
3. Select, in the Support folder on the CD-ROM drive, the M_INDEX.PDX file.
4. Double-click the file name or click Open.
5. Click OK.

How to use AcrobatTM Search:
1. Click the Search Query button located in the toolbar or
choose Tools > Search > Query.
2. Type in a Mouser stock number, description, keywords, or subject
for a full search.
3. To view a document returned from the search:
   A. Double-click a document that seems likely to contain the relevant
      information.
   B. Use the Search buttons on the toolbar to view all the occurrences
      of matches for your query.

Returning to point of origin from a Mouser Spec Sheet,
Click on the Left Double Arrow in Tool Bar.
